Over the October long weekend 2008, the various chapters of CEFE in SE NSW took the Climate Torch from the Snowy Mountains to the sea. It started in the Snowy Mountains, where it was skied down what little snow was left in Thredbo, photographed in front of the Jindabyne surf club, where renewable energy had been installed earlier in the year, then transported to Cooma.

Bega seed savers
The torch was then transported down to Bega by Philippa Rowland, where it was met by the Bega seed savers.
Tathra surf club
The Climate Torch arrived at the Tathra surf club on 6/8/08. Tathra surf club is the birth place of LifeSaving Energy, and a big turnout of club members welcomed the torch to the coast.
Mysterious water tank
As the torch made its way towards Eurobodalla, it stopped off at a mysterious water tank with 50/50 by 2020 painted on its side.
